YOSHI'S ISLAND: 30
Ranking all the Minigames!
Yoshi's Island not only has Bonus Challenges you have a chance to play at the end of regular levels, but in-level minigames too!
The Bonus Challenges are heavily luck-based, so those aren't ranked below. The minigames, however, can require some skill!
The developers seemingly loved balloons during the creation of Yoshi's Island, as balloons are a theme in 2 out of 4 minigames.
In each in-level minigame, Yoshi must compete against the Bandit, and that Baby Mario-stealing thief can be a formidable foe!
So from balloons, to coins, to watermelon seed spitting, let's rank all 4 in-level minigames in SMW2: Yoshi's Island!

#4
Throwing Balloons
I've never liked this game and probably win 25% of the time if I'm lucky. Before the red progress bar fills up, Yoshi has to input whatever commands are shown above. The balloon continually inflates as Yoshi and Bandit take turns passing it back and forth, hoping it bursts while the other holds it!
#3
Popping Balloons
Popping Balloons is maybe the most luck-based minigame, but at least it's fun to run around ground-pounding hoping you get the lucky one! It can end in a single ground-pound or last until the final balloon. If you're decently fast at ground-pounding and avoiding Bandit, you have a good chance!

#2
Gather Coins
If you've mastered fluttering, you have a huge advantage over Bandit! I always like to spring off his head and flutter next to the moving cannon right as it shoots coins out. Yoshi can also use his tongue here for assistance robbing Bandit of precious points! This game makes up for Throwing Balloons!
#1
Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest
On the original SNES, this game can only be played in The Cave Of The Mystery Maze, which is too bad because it's a fan favorite. Bandit wears a Yoshi mask enabling him to spit watermelon seeds(?). Sometimes a fire watermelon will appear which really puts the heat on whoever gets hit!
